SUBMISSIONS

EAM is seeking submissions from emerging visual artists whose focus is painting, photography, sculpture, fabric design, furniture design, conceptual, installation and performance art, electronic media design, and short film. Before submitting your work with us you must read through this list and be sure you meet ALL of our requirements before our staff will review your work.

1. The artist must have an updated website, viewable on computer and smartphone, with a dedicated domain name, i.e., www.clintcarney.com not fillintheblank.weebly.com.

2. The artist must have, and actively maintain a social media page with over 200 followers (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

3. The artist must have at least one dedicated place online where ORIGINAL works are actively for sale (artist website, Etsy, Ebay, BigCartel, etc).

4. The artist must be able to select five to ten works from their current body and explain them in clear concise language to the general public and the magazine staff.

5. The artist must be willing and available to interview in person, via Skype/Facetime, or via email based on our timeline.

6. The artist must be able to provide five to ten professional high resolution 350 dpi (JPG or PNG) photographs of their work, if selected for an interview.


7. The artist if conceptual, installation or performance based must provide a minimum 1280x720i maximum 1920x1080i video via www.vimeo.com of your work.


8. DO NOT submit your work via our 'Contact Us' page. January 1, 2014 a submission form will appear on this page, please use only that form.


NOTE: Any submissions failing to meet the guidelines will be ignored.

If EAM selects and interviews you, EAM holds exclusive right and discretion for timeline of publishing your story as well as the content and writing style of the article.
